Perennial Dales Pony Stud

About us...

I have spent all of my young adult life working with animals, in various areas.

Owning my first pound pet at 10, much time was spent reading books on training, and spending time with "Lassie".

My desire to attend college for Barn & Equine Management, was squashed by family members who didn't realize that 22 years later, it would be exactly what I'd be doing in spite of it all! Animals are my heart!

Affording the local community college, I chose the curriculum for Photography Technology. Another passion!

With this knowledge and a knack for photography, my camera is always close by my side.

Currently capturing "Best Friends". Kids, Families, People and their pets, I use  the "patience" acquired in training animals, to capture my subjects in natural or posed portraits.  Using natural and available light.  Indoor studio slated for fall 2007.
For travel outside the Colorado Springs area, travel charges apply.

Although some of the technicals have changed, I have kept up with those changes, and have gone "digital". Keeping up to date on various formats of photography, through clinics and workshops, keeps my edge on technicals,  perspectives and compositions.

Capturing images in digital format for instant appreciation.

Now residing at the southern edge of the Black Forest, our 5 acre, park like property doubles as a great location for many of the images you will find within. Locations around Colorado Springs, are done at no extra charge.

The "Kids"..

Having married at an older age, I have "Defaulted" to Oma status. Our 4 grandchildren live with their parents a state away, and they, along with my nephew, are my best subjects, when we are together.

A love for kids, helps in capturing their best faces.

Our four legged kids, round out our home; the "golden girls" Khelsea and Dice. "The Cat", known to everyone as "Bob", our two equine mounts, Sundance, a QH gelding, and Danny, a Dales pony stallion.

Breeding, raising and training golden retrievers since 1996, and loving the breed since 1984, we have made room to include overnight boarding facilities for our local golden friends.

Having worked at a handful of animal hospitals as we would relocate, kept me up on basic first aids, and handling the special needs of some of the ailiments found in today's pets. Injections and special medications.

Known amongst local professionals, with professional & personal references available upon request, we look forward to serving you and your golden*, on your next vacation!

Welcome!

* other breed siblings are welcome
